Kathryn Louise Newcomb, 75, of Charles Town, WV passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.
Born December 6, 1949 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Bessie Breeden.
She was of the Christian faith.
Louise and Jim together ran Jim's Auto Repair since 1988. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Jim, at home, one daughter, Michelle Tanner of Harpers Ferry, WV, one stepson, Jimmy Newcomb (Kim), of Kearneysville, WV, three grandchildren, Anthony "TJ" Tanner, Jr., Tyler Tanner and Victoria Wiseman, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Kitty Hoyle and Margaret Housden, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful K-9 companions, Chynna, Jypann and Iggy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Terry "Snooke" Breeden-Iddings, Bessie "Tooker" Housden, Judy Housden and Diane Buis and one brother, Elwood "Boo" Breeden, Jr.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Jeanette Eggleton and Pastor Clyde Eggleton officiating. Interment will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
