Keith Dyson Obituary

Keith was a 1950 graduate of Roann High School. He was a US Army veteran and a lifelong farmer. Keith married Marilyn June Nicely on August 17, 1951 at the Roann First Brethren Church; she died December 9, 2017. He was a member of Roann First Brethren Church. Keith enjoyed working, woodworking, mushroom hunting, fishing, traveling with his daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ellen and Jerry, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by three children; Mike (Deb) Dyson of North Manchester, Mark (Sally) Dyson of Roann, and June (Bobby) Haecker of North Manchester, son-in-law, Jerry Nelson of Roann, 11 grandchildren; Bryan (Victoria) Nelson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Annie (Fletcher) Nelson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Travis (Kate) Dyson, Kyle (Hilary) Evans, and Tommy (Darcy) Dyson, all of Roann, Julie Dyson of Lake Ann, Michigan, Kari (Matt) Weaver of Roann, Cassie (Larry) McClelland of Warsaw, Indiana, Emily (Adam) House of Roann, Braydon (Danielle) Sewell of Noblesville, Indiana, and Bailey (Patrick Masters) Sewell of North Manchester, 18 great-grandchildren, and sister, Nancy (Rex) Vigar of Roann. He was also preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jo Ellen Nelson, three brothers, John Dyson, Donald Dyson, and Dick Dyson, and sister, Carolyn Landis.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Walk by Faith Community Church, 515 S. Chippewa Street, Roann, with Jody Tyner officiating. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery, Roann. Friends may call 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, at the church. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel.
Preferred memorial is Roann Community Heritage.
