Keith Pernell McGinnis was born on March 30, 1964, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to W.G. and Opal (Peel) McGinnis.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at White Oak Baptist Church. Keith began his education at Frances Corprew Elementary and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School with the Class of 1983. He went on to attend Bishop College in Dallas, Texas.
During his time in Dallas, Keith worked for the Dallas Public Library and was later employed by Carquest. After returning to Mount Pleasant, he worked for the Nicko Recycling in Pittsburg, Texas.
Keith had a deep love for sports, especially football. He enjoyed watching games with his family and was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Opal Mack; three siblings: Tony McGinnis (Charmaine), Melease Baines (Thomas), and Stanley McGinnis; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
