Keith David Nash was born February 25, 1967, in St. Charles, Missouri. He was the son of Vertis and Gloria (Pace) Nash. Keith grew up in Salem, Missouri, and graduated in 1985 from Salem High School. After high school, he furthered his education and received certification in Heating and Cooling. Keith was united in marriage to the love of his life, Angie Pruett, on August 6, 1988. Together, they raised a strong family, creating a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter. Keith and Angie were blessed with one daughter, Rachel, and two sons, Glenn T. and Ryan. A dedicated and hardworking man, Keith proudly served as a correctional officer, displaying integrity and commitment to duty. He started his career working The Walls in Jefferson City and retired in 2010 from South Central Correctional Center in Licking. Outside his professional career, he was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband to Angie for thirty-seven years, proud father of his children, and even prouder grandfather to the apple of his eye, Walker. Keith had a passion for drawing and was truly a talented artist. In his younger years, he enjoyed catfishing with his brother and lately he was a competitive grill master competing with his son Glenn T. Through all his challenges, it was his faith in the Lord that gave him the strength to endure and keep moving forward. Alongside his family, he was attended New Home Baptist Church when he was able. Keith entered eternal rest July 28, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years. He is survived by loving wife: Angie Nash of Salem, MO; son: Glenn T. Nash and wife Deandrea of Salem, MO; grandson: Walker Nash; mother-in-law: Mary Pruett of Salem, MO; father: Vertis Nash; sisters: Kendra Nicholson and husband Brad and Natalie Beacom and husband Aaron; twin brother: Kirk Nash; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceding him in death were his infant daughter: Rachel Nash; son: Ryan Nash; father-in-law: Bill Pruett; and mother: Gloria Nash. Keith, who did have a bossy side to him, will be remembered for his compassionate heart, kind nature, and loving spirit. He will also be remembered as a great storyteller, not always true, but great! He will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him. Graveside Services for Keith David Nash were held Thursday July 31, 2025, in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were Glenn T. Nash, Walker Nash, Mike Pruett, Chase Shipp, Taylor Shipp, Chad Cook, Scotty Sullins, Kenneth Head, Rusty Wells, and Don Stewart. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Condolences may be left online at www.wilsonmortuary.com
