Keith Alan Schindler, age 56, of Galesville, WI died at Mayo Clinic Health System - La Crosse Saturday, October 26, 2024, due to complications of Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
Keith was born September 12, 1968, in La Crosse, WI, the son of Roger Schindler and Barbara (Pozanc) Hoffman. He was an avid hunter, motorcyclist, and golfer. He honorably served his country in the United States Army, including being stationed in Germany for 2 years. He enjoyed taking trips to Canada and out west for bear and deer hunting. He worked for 15 years for the Corps of Engineers on the Dresbach Dam.
He is survived by his father, Roger (Dawn) Schindler of Rollingstone; siblings: Sheri (Jamie) Schindler of Black River Falls, WI, Chris Schindler of Rollingstone, and Kevin Schwartz of Trempealeau, WI; extended family: AJ, Diane, Ben, and Jen Schwartz, and Erica, Billy, and Hunter Duellman.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Barbara; aunt, Robyn Pozanc; cousin, Shauna Maas; and uncle, Arnold Schindler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2pm at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Winona. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
