Kelly McLaughlin Obituary

Kelly S. McLaughlin, 49, of Masury, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 23, 2025 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was born October 18, 1975, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William Wingert, Sr. and Diana (Nelson) Rodgers. Kelly graduated from Edgewood High School Class of 1992. She then went on to earn a degree in American Sign Language from Lakeland Community College and also received a degree in social work from Kent State University. Kelly was a coffee connoisseur. She loved all kinds and flavors of coffee and would drink multiple pots a day. She was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast. She liked to play games on her Nintendo Switch, color and listen to all different genres of music depending on how she was feeling at the time. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Kelly is survived by her children, Brianna (Ben) Buie, Matthew "Boog" McLaughlin, and Crystal Hazeltine; her companion, Rob Stone; siblings; Kim (Clint) Cork and Mike (Chris) Wilcher; and her grandson, Xander Bridgham. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sherri Wilcher and William "Bill" Wingert, Jr.; and her parents. At her request no formal services will be held.
