Kelly M. Misner, born on April 2, 1970, in Teaneck, NJ, departed this world on January 17, 2025, in West Milford, NJ. Kelly's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with bubbles of laughter, warmth, and unwavering kindness. Her personality shone brightly; she was bubbly and ever-optimistic, always finding the good in everyone and everything around her. To those who knew her, she could often be found responding with a cheerful, “I’m fine,” even amidst life’s challenges.
For 20 years, Kelly made her home at the Wallace House in Sparta, NJ, where she was embraced as a beloved member of their family. Her career blossomed at the Grunert Center in Lake Hopatcong, NJ, where she dedicated herself, making a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
Kelly’s heart was full of love for family. She leaves behind her cherished sister, Margaret “Peggy” Misner Lupo, her husband Vincent “Jim,” along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews, all of whom adored her spirit. They will carry her memory in their hearts, fondly recalling her infectious laughter and boundless positivity.
She faced life with a strong mind and an unshakeable spirit, loving the simple joys such as cheering for the Sussex County Miners baseball team and embarking on delightful trips to Maine with her mother. Her legacy will resonate in the stories shared by family members, as they remember her adventurous spirit and genuine warmth.
Kelly is now reunited with her dear parents, Richard “Dick” Misner and Margaret “Peg” Volk Misner, her beloved sister Margaret “Sue” Clair, and her brother Richard M. Misner, who have welcomed her with open arms.
Her presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc., located at 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ, on January 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on January 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
In the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her, Kelly M. Misner’s spirit will remain a guiding light, illuminating the path with love, laughter, and the cherished memories that will live on in each story told.
