Ken Reynolds, beloved brother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Forsyth, Missouri, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson. Burial with full military honors will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
Ken was born on June 2, 1940, in McCook, Nebraska to Francis W. Reynolds & Lila D. Reynolds. He attended grade school in McCook and graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. He went on to serve as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1968.
Post-military service, Ken owned and operated his first grocery store in his hometown of McCook. He would later own and operated Kelley's Supermarket in Beaver City, NE.
In his personal life, Ken was the epitome of a gentleman, quiet and proper. He shared a beautiful marriage of 28 years with his beloved wife, the late Beth Reynolds. Together, they savored the joys of exploring new destinations traveling together and creating a life full of love together. Ken also enjoyed listening to gospel music, attending gospel music shows and eating out. After the passing of Beth, Ken found companionship with his dear friend, Mary Potter. Together they enjoyed traveling, sharing each other's company, and conversation.
Throughout his life, Ken was a devout Christian and an active member of the First Baptist Church in Forsyth. He served on the Welcome Team, embodying the welcoming spirit of his congregation. His witness of Christ's love, his kindness and his gentleness will be deeply missed.
Ken is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Stan Reynolds of McCook, NE and Maurice Reynolds along with Maurice's wife Saundra of Springfield, MO; his sister Kathy Allerton of Denver, CO; and his dear friend Mary Potter of Forsyth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Lila Reynolds; his cherished wife, Beth Reynolds; and siblings, Robert Reynolds, Irene Tourtellotte, Wesley Reynolds, Ginnie Bolles, and Eldon Reynolds.
