Neal is survived by his former spouse, Lollie Lampkin; his sister, Penny (Albert) Downs; his brother, Alan (Brenda) Benham of Carmi, IL; two nieces, Samantha Benham and Leslie (Jason) Faust; a nephew, Lance Downs; two great nieces, Kamryn Faust and Madison Turner; a great nephew, Nathan Faust; a great-great nephew, Hayden Dotson; and a great-great niece, Wrenley Ashmore.
In honoring Neal's wishes, the family has chosen cremation with no public services to be held. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
