Kenneth Newell Obituary

Kenneth Patton Newell, age 63, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Levine and Dickson Southminster. The family is hosting a celebration of life that will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Born in Rock Hill, SC, Kenneth was the son of the late Donald Eugene Newell Sr. and Margaret Lucille Newell. He was a longtime member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, and he owned and operated his own landscaping company for 15 years before retirement. Kenneth enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing, taking trips to the beach, going to church and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Surviving is his loving wife of 45 years, Terrie Lynn Newell; his children, Daniel Newell (Brittany) of Fort Mill, SC, Corey Newell of Fort Mill, SC; siblings, Donnie Newell (Robin) of Edgemoor, SC, Mitch Newell (Lynn) of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Newell, Lauren Newell, Tucker Newell, Savannah Newell, Will Newell, Colton Newell, Cadence Newell, Chloe Zessin, Waylon Zessin; and one great-grandchild Kai Bargas.
