Kenton L. Dietrich, 77, Alliance, NE, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Skyview of Bridgeport, NE.

He was born on September 11, 1947 to Alex and Shirley Dietrich Jr. in Alliance, NE. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1966 in Alliance, NE, attended Chadron State College, was a Certified Nursing

Assistant, served in the U.S. Navy, and worked for BNSF as well as Alliance Vision Source, PC. In addition, he was a Quilt of Valor recipient as well as a classic/muscle car enthusiast. He was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Alliance, NE, serving as an usher and on the Columbarium Committee, and greatly enjoyed studying the Bible, Biblical commentaries, and, above all, confessed/embraced Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, who promised: "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die". (John 11:25-26).

He is survived by his brother, R. Craig Dietrich of Alliance. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 11:00 am. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Mueller officiating. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.

Memorials may be sent to in care of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran School, 1024 Box Butte Ave., Alliance, NE, 69301.
