It is with great sadness that the family of Kimberly Rose Peterson share with you her sudden passing on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
She was so young, with a long life ahead of her at 41,and was a devoted mother to 5 children; Devon (18), Davion (9), Damari and Destini (4) and Da'neil (16 months).
Her Mother, Paula Peterson is grieving her death along with siblings Nicole Jackson (Marty), Jeremy Carlson (Heather), and Sarah Peterson (Nate)
She is preceded in death by her father, Neil Peterson; and all of her grandparents.
Kim was born July 15th, 1983 in Winona, Minnesota where she was raised and had many lifelong friendships. She moved to Monticello, Minnesota with her mother and sister 20 years ago, and then started her own family.
Kim loved her pull tabs, casino stays, and having a great time with friends and family. Barbecuing, playing card games, and dice all while singing to Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo, and many other R&B singers were also some of Kim's favorite things. She will be deeply missed by so many people.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Monticello VFW on Saturday, May 17th from 11:00AM-2:00PM for family and close friends.
