Kurt was born in Los Angeles. Grew up in Lake Oswego,Oregon and settled in Seattle.
Kurt embraced living in the Pacific Northwest where he enjoyed camping, hiking, and climbing.He climbed Mt Rainier and Mt Hood a couple of times.
He worked in the wine business for many years. Kurt was passionate about listening to music (just like his dad), drinking good wine, riding and taking exceptional care of his BMW and Ducati bikes, and being around friends and family.He was a good friend to all.
His velvety voice and sweet demeanor will be missed.
Kurt is survived by his wife Julie, mother Marilyn Rezac, sister Erica, sister Kirstin Herriges and her husband Nic and nephew Spencer, brother Kris and his wife Kaffette and many other cousins.
No service has been planned at this time. Kurt's family holds him close in their hearts and takes comfort in the memories he leaves behind.
For those who want to honor Kurt's memory, the family invites you to celebrate him in your own way. We will miss you.Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Kurt and I worked together many years ago in the wine business and we always had a lot of fun. He was smart, thoughtful and knew so much about the business. I´m so sad to hear this news. Yet he will forever be a great memory in my mind. My condolences to his family.
