He was born on October 21, 1940 in Port Huron, Michigan, a son of the late Kurt Herbert and Royala Geraldine (James) Samuelson. Kurt married Mary "Mimi" Alice Marski on October 13, 2000. She preceded him in death on July 8, 2020.
He is survived by his step children, Kim (Vince) White, Darrin (Margo) Wison and Vern Rich; 6 grand children and 4 great grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Linda) McMann and his sister, Louise Kesserling.
Kurt was preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Crawford, Dawn Hanson and Gail McMann and three brothers, Lyle Samuelson, Chuck Walters and Alec McMann; one step brother, Edward McMann.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-7 P.M. on Saturday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Carsonville.
