Kyle E. Kersey, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

He was born on October 30, 1955, in Evansville, Indiana, a son to the late James and Carolyn Kersey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Kersey.

Kyle was a cherished member of the Corbin community. He was a retired delivery driver for the former Hall-Watson Furniture Store for over 32 years before working as a sales driver for Schwann's. Kyle was a steadfast member of the Central Baptist Church and a fierce supporter of his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Tammy Kersey; sons, Christopher Kersey (Lisa), and Justin Kersey; grandchildren, Bentlee Kersey and Lainey Grace Kersey; siblings, Cheryl Parks, Carol Mullins, Andy Kersey (Tina), Danny Luigs (Cheryl), and Betsy Talyor; and by several nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation for Kyle will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, July 12th with Rev. Josh Pollitt and Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating., 

Burial will follow in the Fox Addition of the Calvary Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
