Lance was born at the us naval hospital in Corona, California. He grew up in southern California. He was a kind and gentle soul who had a lifelong love of things Disney, especially collecting Disney films and memorabilia.
Lance attended Santana high school in Santee where he was active in sports. He was the first ever recipient of the "faculty achievement award" for his contributions to the athletic department.
After high school he attended Grossmont College where he studied communications. He served as the sports editor for the school’s paper known for his sharp wit, unique sense of humor and his interest in politics, Lance brought joy and laughter to those around him.
As a small child he always was fascinated by buses. I (Shirley) would pull up next to one when I was driving and he would make the sounds of the bus’s brakes. I will never forget this little boy and the joy he had with buses. Lance went on to work as a coach driver for 30 years for "Omni Trans" in San Bernardino County where he earned multiple safe driving awards and formed many lasting friendships.
It is with profound sadness that Lance has passed, and he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Lance is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Hamm, two sisters Kimberly Stallings and Stephony Hamm, two brothers Bradley Stallings and Michael Hamm, two nephews Donald Holladay his wife Kelly and Daniel Stallings, one niece Kati Stallings, and one grandnephew and one grandniece Maxton and Amelia Holladay.
