Larry L. Archer
OTTAWA – Larry L. Archer, 71, of Ottawa, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born October 20, 1953, in Lima to the late Eugene and Eugenia (Severns) Archer. On July 22, 1978, he married Sue Rimer, who survives in Ottawa.
Other survivors include two children: Lucas (Bethany) Archer of Findlay and Abby (Ryan) Zeman of Vandalia; six grandchildren: Mackinaw, William and River Archer, Noah, Zachary and Drew Zeman; and two siblings: Mike (Darlene) Archer of Dublin and Dot (Steve) Kiser of NC.
Larry was a retired school guidance counselor. He had worked for Continental and Columbus Grove Schools. Larry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa as well as the Freemasons. He loved fishing, leading bible study, playing games, attending his grandsons' events, journaling and enjoying a cup of coffee on the AuTrain River.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Marcella Ciccotelli officiating. Committal service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3000 Harding Hwy, Lima, OH 45804. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa.
