Larry "Jody" Joe Davidson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving friends and family holding his wife's hand on Saturday July 12th 2025.
He was born in Dickson, TN, on May 14, 1974, to William Larry and Wanda Davidson.
He attended Dickson county high school and lived his life in Dickson Tn. He was a maintenance supervisor with Gossett Investments for many years. Jody was a loving husband to his wife Angela and a dedicated father to his children, Taylor, Nathan, Trinity and Ethan. He cherished these relationships and was over the moon to welcome his first grandchild, Oliver. He loved many things such as working on cars, fishing, target shooting, kayaking and anything that involved spending time with his wife, children and family. His pride and joy was his 1966 Chevelle, his home and his land. He fought a two and a half year battle with cancer, with strength and resilience. Jody was very stubborn and hard headed as most know but he stood behind everything he said and done and that's what he was known for.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Davidson; children, Taylor Scott (Christopher), Nathan Davidson, Trinity Edwards and Ethan Davidson; grandson, Oliver Davidson; parents, William Larry and Wanda (Manley) Davidson; siblings, William Davidson, Jeffrey Davidson (Beth), and Jennifer Dearborn (Kenny); and several nieces and nephews. Jody was a fighter in all things in life and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration Gathering with the family will be Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
