Larry Steven Davis, Sr., 73, husband of the late Pat Rogers Davis, of Seneca, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 17, 2025, on their wedding anniversary.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Coaxie Ivory and Ora Colleen Medlin Davis. Over the years he worked in manufacturing and as a maintenance technician. Mr. Davis was a simple, Godly man with a sense a humor who loved his family, cooking for them, collecting antiques, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Davis is survived by his son: Larry "Steven" Davis, Jr.; daughters: Stephanie Stockman (Tony) and Laura Stargel; sisters: Sarah Owens and Florine Owens; honorary sister: Betty Davis; grandchildren: Haley Smith, Hayden Long, Gracie Stockman, Gabe Stockman, Cody Stargel, Tiffany Stargel, and Patrick Davis; great-grandchildren: Jaxon Smith, Ila Grace Smith, Hayes Long, River Stargel, Grayson and Jeremy Davis; many special nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog: Taco Bell.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his brothers: LC, Frank, Johnny, Truman, and Tommy Davis; grandson: Trey Stargel; and son-in-law: Aaron Stargel.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Flowers are accepted.
The family is at the home of Stephanie Stockman.
