All who Knew Larry loved him and remarked on how you couldn't know a better man. He was known as "Everybody's Favorite Mailman" after Serving in the United States Navy. You couldn't ask for a sweeter and loving father. He loved his kids and grandkids and provided for them. He gave himself to his church and his community, always lending a helping hand to those in need. He loved his little dog named Spike. It is a chihuahua and he thought if he named it that, that it would give it some confidence. He loved to play his guitar and harmonica and especially loved to sing old hymnals. Some of his favorite pastimes were going fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, woodworking, watching football games and restoring his old 1929 Ford Model A. His passing has left a hole in our hearts, but we know he's delivering mail up in heaven on the streets of gold now. Being embraced in the arms of his parents saying, "Son, you're finally Home." In his last days here on earth, he would say he's just biding his time until he can see Jesus' face to face.

Larry, we will miss you dearly. If you leave a mark and beautiful presence on someone's life and heart, then you know your life was well lived. We love you, Larry, and we will see your smile again on the other side. Thank you for being such a good son, father, brother, husband and most of all, a friend to all.
