Larry Lager, 79, of Conception Junction, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville.

Larry was born on July 23, 1945, in Maryville, Missouri to Lawrence B. and Beatrice D. (Wiederholt) Lager, Sr. He was a graduate of Jefferson C-123 High School and was a lifelong farmer. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Larry was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post #464.

He married Patty A. O'Day on February 24, 1968, in Maryville, Missouri. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include their children, Steve (Angie) Lager, Chris (Steve) Schenkel; grandchildren, Dominique (Andy) Hamilton, Morgan (David) Stickelman, James (Kim) Russell, Megan Russell, Parker Schenkel, Cameron Schenkel and Bethany Schenkel; great-grandchildren, Alison, Patrick, Autumn, Jacob, Abigail, Xander, Zabriella, Aiden, Lacey, Kale, Lucas and Weston; brother, Chuck (Chelyn) Lager; three sisters, Rose (Raymond) Frueh, Berniece (Bill) Stephenson and Mary (Bill) Metcalf.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Michelle Lager.

Rosary 6pm Friday, July 25th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the rosary from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial 10am Saturday, July 26th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, Missouri. In memory of Larry, his family suggests memorials to St. Columba Cemetery.
