Larry Lee Marcum, 76, of Franklin, Nebraska passed from this life Friday, July 11, 2025 at Accura Healthcare Center.
Graveside services and inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:30 A.M.
Larry was born at Campbell, Nebraska on November 23, 1948 to Ida Grube Marcum. He was raised in Franklin with his mother. He attended public schools through the eighth grade. He attended the Franklin United Methodist Church.
After his mother passed, he lived at the Golden Age Village, Franklin until moving into Accura Care due to failing health.
Larry’s greatest pleasure was riding his bicycle ever since he was young. He rode many, many miles. He loved gardening and raising vegetables which he and his other canned every year. He also mowed lawns for various people. From his mother, he learned how to make pies, bake cakes and cookies.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Verla Yancy and Junie Wright. He will be forever remembered by his brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Esther Marcum; nephew Kevin Marcum and wife Denise and their son Cody, Lebanon, Kansas; other relatives and friends.
Hutchins Funeral Home, Franklin, assisted the Marcum family with these cremation services.
