Laura Ann Berg, 59, of Concord, departed this life on Monday, July 14, 2025, in Concord with her family at her side. She was born on April 23,1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Franklin Dee Morrison and Glenda Mask Morrison.
Laura worked in retail management with companies such as Home Depot, Fred's and KFC. She also owned her own catering business, Sweet Emotions, in which she baked wedding cakes along with many other favorites. Laura also enjoyed being an event planner for various organizations and she was a 4-H Leader for several years.
Laura found much enjoyment in horseback riding, as well as raising and showing horses especially miniature horses.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harry Berg; her father, Franklin Dee Morrison; a son, Dylan Sandefur, of Concord; her daughters, Rebecca (Jesse) Wilson, of Concord, Heather (Adam) Dicaprio, of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and Blair Scoggin, of Pleasant Plains, Chancey Faith Berg; her sister, Andrea Morrison, of Concord; her grandchildren, Aurora Grace, Winter, Mariah, and Daniel; nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Morrison; and her first husband, Forrest Danny Sandefur; and her mother in law, Shirley Berg.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Floral.
Pallbearers will be Joey Gay, Danny Gay, Dylan Sandefur, Greg Thomas, Gary Colburn, and Neil Huskey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Wilson and Daniel Keeling.
