Laura Ann Luther, age 67, of Kirby, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 22, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1958, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Alfred I. Snyder and Ruth C. (Niederkohr) Snyder. On May 9, 2006, she married Michael J. Luther, who preceded her in death on August 24, 2016. Laura is survived by her loving children: Todd (Lindsay) Hall of Upper Sandusky; Lindy (Brian Laferty) Hall of Kirby; and Chad Hall of Kirby; as well as her son-in-law, Darrin Gottfried. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Julianna Hall, Benton Hall, Alexander Laferty, Maria Swavel, Michael Tucker, Easton Hall, and Haedyn Hall; and great-grandmother to Bentley Davis. She is also survived by her brothers: Jeffrey Snyder of Kirby; Douglas (Cheryl) Snyder of Kirby; Ronald Snyder of Upper Sandusky; and Dennis (Jessica Vanichek) Snyder of Kirby. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Christy Gottfried; and her brother, Edwin Snyder. Laura graduated from Upper Sandusky High School class of 1976. A member of St. Mary's Chapel in Kirby, Laura retired as a laborer from Carey Plastics. Throughout her life, she also worked in retail stores and as a cook in various restaurants. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking-especially her favorite taco dip and many other cherished recipes-canning, and making trips to the casinos. Laura was known for her helpful and loving nature, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word. A Celebration of Life will be held later.
