Lauren Cumberledge Obituary

On this warm summer day Lauren Cumberledge peacefully slipped into her forever sleep, grew her wings, and flew through the pearly gates to be reunited with her beloved son, Derek Cumberledge, and parents, Steve and Lisa Harrison. She dreamed of this playdate with her son for many years. She did not want to leave her beloved most precious daughter, Ruby Cumberledge, and the love of her life, her husband and father of her children, Stephen Cumberledge. Some will say the cancer was what caused Lauren's death, but really it was from a broken heart.

Lauren was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, and friend. She loved her dogs. Lauren loved the ocean and loved adventure. She was a free spirit. Lauren was a hard worker and was a successful property manager for many years. Seeing her daughter ride horses brought the most joy to Lauren's heart. She loved God and Jesus Christ and through all of her trials and tribulations she stayed strong in her faith and never faltered.

Lauren's funeral will be held at St. Michael Lutheran Church on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your nearest SPCA, ocean cleanup, or horse rescue.
