Lauren Lemmond Obituary

Lauren Lemmond, a beacon of laughter and kindness, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 50. Born in Garland, Texas on February 17, 1975, to her loving parents, Susan and Harvey Lemmond, Lauren's vibrant spirit and infectious humor brought joy to all who knew her. She left this world in Kaufman, Texas, surrounded by the warmth of her family's love.
Lauren's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, including her cherished children, Kallie Gail McRoy and Nolan Brent Condie, her sister, Melanie Witherspoon and husband Brad, and her supportive brother, Brent Lemmond. Her role as a mother was the one she held dearest, instilling in her children the same sense of joy and boundless love that she carried throughout her life.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Lauren will remember her as one could always be counted on to provide a hearty laugh, even on the most challenging days. Her stubbornness was a testament to her passion, and her big heart was apparent in every interaction. Lauren's ability to turn any situation into a moment of levity will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends.
Lauren lived life to the fullest, with the same zeal and exuberance that she approached her role as a loving mother and daughter. She could party with the best of them. Yet, it was her unwavering kindness and the love she poured into her relationships that truly defined her. Lauren's memory will continue to inspire joy and kindness in the hearts of family she left behind: Alayna and Mallory Witherspoon, Briston Lemmond, Brittney and Jay Bryant, Banks Bryant, Brooks Lemmond, Jackie and Sheila Lemmond, Lacey Lemmond, Corey Lemmond, Tiffany and Jeff Chandler, Ricky Lemmond, Brandee and Patrick Sowers, Brandon and Erin Lemmond, Logan Lemmond and wife Kimberly, Harvey and Louann Lemmond, Ronnie Ross, Jody and Karey Ross, Kimberly Ross, Randy Ross, Kathy Ross, Gary Ross, Jason and Chanelle Ross, Jaclyn and Jamie Nesom. Preceding her in death are grandparents Cozel and Imogene Ross and James and Bertha Lemmond, and uncle Rodney Lemmond.
Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for visitation Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
