1933-2025
Bethany, MO: Lawrence Neil Marsh, 92, Bethany, MO, went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
He was born on May 30, 1933, in Ridgeway, MO, the son of Sheldon "Shack" and Sylvia (Cook) Marsh. He had four brothers named Virgil, Lee, Alvin, and Floyd Marsh, and five sisters named Emma Lee (Osmon), Nada (Oxford), Betty (Isakson), Dorothy (King), and Mary Ann. He had two stepbrothers from Sheldon's previous marriage named Wick and Morway.
Lawrence had two stepchildren by a previous marriage, Chris who is now deceased and Dwight Schell.
He worked as a janitor for South Harrison High School until his retirement. Lawrence loved to garden during retirement as long as his health allowed and liked to drive around the countryside. During his younger days, he also like to fox hunt and coon hunt.
Lawrence leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will with Military Rites will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Ridgeway Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
