Lawrence Martin Obituary

Lawrence Patrick Martin, known as Larry to his friends and family, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on October 23, 1963, to Marvin and Joann (Recor) Martin. Larry attended Algonac High School in Algonac, Michigan. Larry dedicated himself to the trade of roofing, a profession that allowed him to work under the sun he so loved. His commitment to his craft was evident in the quality of his work and the respect he earned from his colleagues.
Larry was a man who cherished the outdoors. He is survived by his children, Crystal Hart and Aaliyah Martin (Reed Bailey), and grandkids, Andrew Hintze, Chloe Brown, and Charissa Brown. Larry had a unique way of showing his affection for his grandkids, whom he loved. Larry's was preceded in death by his siblings, Marvin Martin and Tina Martin.
Those who knew Larry will remember him as a kind soul, and a loving figure. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends, but they take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to shine brightly, like the sun he so enjoyed.
Per Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service are planned at this time.
