Lelan Dixon Burgess, 74, widow of General Lee Burgess died Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1950 in Clarendon County, South Carolina. A daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Reid Dixon.
Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Friday, July 11, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC. Burial will follow in Cypress Fork AME Church Cemetery, Alcolu, SC.
The family will be receiving friends 3PM til 6PM daily, at her residence 1097 Virginia Way, Alcolu, SC.
