Leroy Allen Obituary

Leroy C. Allen, age 63, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2025, at the Center for Hospice Care-Raclin House in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was born on November 18, 1961, in McComb, Mississippi, to the late John L. and Eula Mae (Butler) Allen.
Leroy is survived by his son, Daniel Rhoden; sisters Joyce Mae Allen, Jessie Mae Allen, Bobbie Gene Allen, Jeanette Foster, and Ola Mae Rose; brothers Charles (Geneva) Allen, Johnnie Lee (Reginia) Allen, J.L. Allen, Willie Lee Allen, George (Sabrina) Allen, and Ronnie Dale (April) Allen; as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews such as Bobby Gene Allen, Rebecca Wyre, Cinderella Allen, Melvin Junior Allen, Ruth Allen, Carol Gray, Eula May Guidry, Nicole Allen and Shanita Johnson just to name a few. He is also remembered by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
Leroy was employed as a landscaper and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He spent leisure time boating, fishing, and playing basketball. Additionally, he enjoyed painting and playing card games.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Homes-Hoven Chapel, 414 E. Front St., Buchanan, MI 49107. Cremation will follow.
