Linda S. Batchelder, age 72 of Kenton, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 5, 1952, in Norristown, Pennsylvania to Alfred J. and Mary Theresa (DeGrado) Hullinger and they preceded her in death. She met Ralph T. Batchelder Jr. on a blind date, and they were married on October 8, 1977, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage together.

Left to cherish her memory includes husband: Ralph T. Batchelder Jr.; son: Andrew Batchelder of Ada; brother: Joseph Hullinger of North Wales, PA; 3 grandchildren; and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by son, Ralph T. Batchelder III.

Linda graduated from Norristown High School in 1970. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, going to casinos, and she liked cats. She loved to shop and often took her favorite shopping partner, Andrew, with her on her many endeavors. She loved to travel, having visited Aruba, Ocean City, Maryland, and Las Vegas. Her favorite places to visit were beaches, and she often spent time at boardwalks, shopping with Andrew, and relaxing in the sand. Ralph and she moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio in December 2019 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She worked as a cashier for many years until she retired. She loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was a kind and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. Arrangements for the Batchelder family are in the care of SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Kenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences may be expressed online at stoutcrates.com.
