Linda Dove Brown, 84 of Deale, MD passed away at her home on July 20, 2025. She was born on June 16, 1941, to Clarence Dove and Clara Virginia (Leatherbury) Dove in Prince Frederick, MD. Linda lived in Deale most of her life and was employed by Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a teacher assistant and eventually a Principal's Secretary retiring in 2000 after 30 years.
After retiring she enjoyed working outdoors and tending to her flower gardens. But her greatest enjoyment was the time it gave her to be with family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was an avid Baltimore Oriole fan and followed the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Maryland Men and Women's Basketball.
She was a lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Parish and served in many roles. She had been a member of the Vestry, served on the Altar Guild, sang in the choir, and belonged to the Women of St. James. She was very active in both the Annual Fall and Spring Dinners and also chaired the making of palm crosses.
Linda is survived her husband of fifty years, James "JB " Brown, her children Kim, Mark, Todd, and Scott. Her grandchildren Jessica Barker (Joe), Zakary Juckett, Natalie Juckett, and Mark Juckett, her great grandchildren Kinley and Klay Barker, her sister Jean Braun and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her sisters MaryEllen Meade and Edith Mitchell.
