Linda Sue (Beers) Hedrick was born April 29, 1953, in St. Francois County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Frank and Flora (Wheeler) Beers. Linda spent her childhood in Irondale, attending Frankclay Grade School.
On November 21, 1970, Linda was united in marriage to the love of her life, Steve Wayne Hedrick. They were blessed with two sons: Steve Jr. and Eric. Linda and Steve raised their family in Belleview, Missouri and shared nearly fifty-five years of lasting memories before his passing April 15, 2025.
Linda's career journey took her from The Brown Shoe Company to Casey's, where she delighted customers with her freshly made donuts each morning, and later to the Viburnum Inn as a cook in the evenings. However, her most fulfilling roles were as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Linda possessed a vibrant spirit, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. She loved fishing, weed eating her yard, the skillful art of crocheting, and cheering on her St. Louis Cardinals. She also found amusement in trying her luck at the casinos, scratch-off tickets, and bingo, often accompanied by her lucky trolls. Linda had a fondness for coffee and enjoyed her smokes.
Linda entered into eternal rest, June 11, 2025, in Belleview, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years. She is survived by her loving sons: Steve Hedrick Jr. and wife Lisa of Belleview, MO, and Eric Hedrick and Leslie Britton of Viburnum, MO; sister: Rosie Barton of Macon, MO; grandchildren: Stephanie, Tessa, Hunter, and Holden; great-grandchildren: Gunner, Hensley, Lucas, Westyn, and Alexander; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Steve Hedrick Sr.; parents: Frank and Flora (Wheeler) Beers; and siblings: Edgar Beers and Clara Vitale.
Linda will be remembered for her spunk, smile, spirited personality, and loving nature. She will forever be missed by those who loved her most.
