Linda L. Knight, 79, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025.
Linda was born in Akron on August 11, 1945 to the late Ralph & Lillian Smith. She was a 1963 graduate of Central High School. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Akron. Linda enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Gary Knight; brothers Tom & Ron Smith; sister-in-law Flora Smith and son-in-law John Steiner. She is survived by her children Kristina (Paul Ratliff) Steiner, Aaron Knight, & Paula (Rick) Hernandez; grandchildren Kalan, Andrew, Jared, Christopher, & Matthew; great-grandson Harlow; sister-in-law Barb Smith.
Special thanks to Regent of Stow, Ohio Living Hospice, and Jeanie Ellison for the compassionate and loving care given to Linda.
Linda will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
