Linda F. Kuenzer, age 74, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Marion General Hospital.
On March 19, 1951, Linda was born at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Della F. (Fogle) Clem. Linda graduated from Hamilton High School in 1969, and attended The Ohio State University. Though she left school when she got married, she later attended the Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with an Associates Degree in Accounting. In 2008 she met the love of her life, Steve Kuenzer. Linda and Steve were married on June 26, 2010.
Linda mastered the Clarinet and played in her high school marching band. Her musical talents have been carried on through numerous members of her family. Linda had the privilege to live all over the world due to her father's service in the United States Army. Linda especially enjoyed living in Augsburg and Hanau, Germany.
Linda proudly served various positions throughout her life including: Candy Striper in high school, President of the Parent Teach Association, Homeroom Mother, Girl Scout Troop Leader, Soccer Coach and Referee, and President of the Sisterhood of Temple Sons of Israel.
Every spring, Linda enjoyed planting their garden and flowers. She enjoyed walking around the yard with her family, showing them all the flowers she had planted. Her favorite flower was the mandevilla. Linda enjoyed going to the casino, travelling and riding in the '63 Impala with her husband, Steve. The loving couple could often be found sitting on their deck listening to music, or on the internet admiring Big Bear Bald Eagles or playing bingo. One of Linda's favorite spots was on the beach watching the water with her husband.
Her proudest achievement was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially to show them that she could still use a Hula Hoop. During the holiday season Linda enjoyed singing Christmas Carols in Latin.
Linda worked hard to take care of her daughters as they were growing up. She worked several jobs, including being an Assistant Manager of Wendy's, selling real estate, and running her own tax business. As busy as she was, she always made sure to attend her daughter's various events, such as choir concerts, softball and soccer games, plays and marching band shows.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Steven Kuenzer; daughters: April (Tom) Dible and Tammy (Brian) Buchanan; grandchildren: Ellie, Brittaney, and Sydney; siblings: Phyllis Hackleman, Les (Nubia) Clem, and Sandra (Jimmy) Gentile; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Della F. (Fogle) Clem.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel; 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, OH 43338. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1PM with Celebrant Galen McLeod, officiating. Immediately following, the Graveside Service will be held at River Cliff Union Cemetery.
