Linda Kay Crosby Lewis, 74, of Prospect, TN, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. She was born on September 29, 1950, in Collins, GA. She lived most of her life in Metter, GA before moving to Tennessee to be near her son. She worked at Metter Manufacturing and Argo as a seamstress. She loved to go to church and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Elton Mills; her parents, Homer and Josephine Lee Glisson; her sister, Joanne Myers; her brother, Tim Smith; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Ryan Crosby.
Linda is survived by her son, Douglas E. Crosby of Prospect, TN; her daughter, Tracy Crosby Coxwell (Robert) of Swainsboro, GA; her grandchildren, Adam Butler (Amy), Owen Crosby, Sarah Coxwell, Chase Coxwell, and Dakota Herb; and her great-granddaughters, Charlotte Butler and Adriana Rose Ramirez. She is also survived by her stepmother, Lelia Mills; her sister, Shelia McGee (Thurston); her brother, Tim Mills (Leanne); and her special caretaker and dear friend, Marie Bradford.
Visitation will be held at Kennedy Funeral Home, Hooks Chapel, in Metter, GA on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 2-3 PM.

Linda will be laid to rest at Primitive Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideon’s International in honor of Linda.
