Linda Mae Cade Long, aged 76, a resident of Belington, departed this life Friday morning on July 25, 2025 in the Davis Medical Center at Elkins, WV. Death was following a period of declining health.

She was born June 2, 1949 at Belington, WV, a daughter of the late Loren Clyde and Helen June Moore Cade. In 1986 she was united in marriage to Jerald Hugh Long, who survives at their home in Belington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother; William "Bill" Cade and wife Yvonne of Belington, two sisters-in-law; Rebecca Hedrick and Elizabeth Snyder, three brothers-in-law; James Randall Long, Danny Bruce Long, & Arie Junior Long. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her sister; Judy Ann Cade Toscos, one brother; Doug Cade, one infant brother; Loren Cade Jr. and a brother-in-law; David Leon Long.

Linda was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1967 and was a homemaker. She formerly attended the Concord United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on her farm. She loved to be outside fishing or hunting and doing word search puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Per Linda's request cremation will be honored. Interment of her cremains will be on her family farm at a later date. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.talbottfuneralhome.com The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of arrangements for Linda Mae Cade Long
