Linda Lucas Obituary

Linda Marie Lucas (Pliska) passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 surrounded by family. Linda was born May 23, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Linda is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Pliska (Strong), father Henry Pliska Senior and brother Henry Pliska Junior. Linda is survived by her husband Robert Lucas, sister Barbara Lakin (Pliska), brother in-law Michael Lakin and Daughter Samantha Lucas.
Linda attended St. Mary's Academy in St. Francis, Wisconsin, and graduated in 1971. Following high school, she went on to attend cosmetology school and later opened her own business, "The Charming Lady." Linda was also a talented artist and had a passion for ceramics. If you knew her, you knew she loved her ceramics. Linda also loved to share her knowledge with others. Over the years, she taught at various senior living communities and studios. She had a passion for teaching and helping others. Linda also enjoyed gardening. Each summer, she had the most beautiful gardens.
On October 30, 1987 Linda married Robert and they have been happily married for 38 years. On November 20, 1989, they had their daughter, Samantha. Linda was an amazing wife, sister, mother, and friend. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Please join us on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home 3774 E. Underwood Ave., Cudahy, WI 53110, for a memorial visitation from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a memorial service at 12 pm.
