Linda Carol Sumpter Morris, 72, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her home. She was born February 11, 1953 to the late Virgil and Grace Taylor Sumpter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben "BW" Morris; brother, Bobby Sumpter; sisters, Shelia Brady, and Debbie Thompson. She cherished her family and loved all kinds of flowers.
Linda is survived by sons, Anthony (Tarah) Morris, Benji (Trish) Morris; daughters, Nichole (John) Harrison, Kelli (Tim) Phillips, Amy (Jarrod) Stephens; brothers, Mark (Teresa) Sumpter, David (Amanda) Sumpter, Mike (Diana Sue) Sumpter, Ray Sumpter; sisters, Diane Sumpter, Tammy Sumpter, Shirley Dufresne, Kim Gauld; grandchildren, Corey Morris, Brandon (Courtney) Morris, Haley (Joe) Marshall, Brittany Garret, Shelby Mattox, Tyler (Alex) Mattox, Whitney Mattox, Isaiah Morris, Alexis Morris, Serenity Morris, Brandon Harrison; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Morris, Lincoln Morris, Khalil Commodore, Kylie Mattox, Dacari Cummins, Damirion Cummins, Khaleyah Hill, Kasiah Marshall, Kameriona Newby, Katalina Fields, and Weston Mattox; and special friends, Vickie Tucker and Angie Lively.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 1:00P.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation prior to service at 11:00A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow in Pythian Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers for Linda will be Isaiah Morris, Corey Morris, Brandon Morris, Tyler Mattox, Brandon Harrison, and Joe Fields.
