Linda Newton Obituary

Linda Newton, 70, passed away at her home on Sunday April 20, 2025, and is now in her heavenly home. A family memorial is scheduled for a later date.

Linda was born in Tripoli, Libya to the late Flo Medlin Newton and Gil Newton. Born into a military family, she lived in many places growing up. Many years were spent in Alabama. She received her Associates Degree from Russell Technical College in Auburn, Alabama. She had amazing mechanical skills but later found her calling in the health care field where she spent many years in private nursing and caregiving.  She cared for her mother until her passing and then moved to Texas to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren and cared for her father until his death' She worked at Elmcroft Nursing Home as a Medical Technician and caregiver. She had a tender, caring heart, strong faith and truly loved her patients.

Survivors include: her daughter, April White and husband, Robert of Graham; sister, Donna Goray and husband, Les of Graham; grandchildren, Caela Totten, Kaitlyn White, Christian White, Lauren White and Ally White; and niece, Lynn Dooley and husband Gene of Flower Mound, TX.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jon A' Newton, and a nephew, Cris Newton.
