It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Darlene Northcutt after a brief but fierce battle against cancer on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her kind spirit will be deeply missed by many.
Linda Darlene (Pullig) Northcutt was born in Sweetwater on December 29, 1943. She graduated from Sweetwater High School and married Robert "Larry" Northcutt on June 1, 1963. She worked for many years as a librarian assistant in both Bangs and Brownwood ISD.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark Northcutt of Brownwood and Brian Northcutt of Weatherford. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Allison Northcutt and her three grandchildren Jared Northcutt (23), Jordan Northcutt (19) and Brinlee Northcutt (14). She is also survived by her two beloved sisters Betty Long and Judy Little and brother-in-law Frankie Little. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Northcutt, and brothers Maurice Pullig and Gerald Pullig along with her parents Archie and Lettie Pullig of Sweetwater.
Linda's final wishes were to have no funeral or memorial service, but for her loved ones to live on and cherish the memories of her love, laughter and unwavering support. May she rest in peace.
