Linda Petrash Obituary

Linda Jane Petrash, age 69, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 12, 2025.

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Born in Kenosha, WI to Leonard and Marian Berger and raised in and around Menomonie, WI, Linda was one of three daughters. She married Loren Petrash in 1977, and together they raised two children.

Linda spent most of her career in manufacturing, including a significant tenure at Menasha from 1988 to 2007. Linda had a passion for Western films, reading novels, and supporting her children/grandchildren in their activities. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family. She was known for her incredibly generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to any family member or friend in need.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Linda leaves behind her loving husband Loren of 47 years; devoted daughter Lanessa Petrash; beloved son Neil (Alison) Petrash; cherished grandchildren AJ and Ava Petrash, who brought her so much joy; and dear sisters Joan (Ben) Beissel and Brenda (Duane) Kraft.

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on what would have been her 70th birthday, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 4:00pm, at White Funeral Home (20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville, MN 55044; 952-469-2723). Visitation will take place one hour prior to the Service from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. A reception will follow.
