Linda Carto Pinkus (nee Poole) passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on April 14, 1947, Linda's life was filled with devotion to her family, passion for life's simple pleasures, and a spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Born in Philadelphia and spent her early years in Brooklawn and Willingboro, Linda was a graduate of Willingboro High School. After her high school years, Linda set down roots in Magnolia and later Cinnaminson, where she raised her beloved children with Edward F. Carto. Linda was the proud mother of her daughter and son-in-law, Jenine and Dennis Helfrich, and her son, the late Edward V. Carto. Her role as a mother was one she held most dear, and the love she had for her children was immeasurable. Linda's legacy continued to blossom with the arrival of her granddaughters, Alexa Carto, Olivia, Madelyn, and Nina Helfrich, and her great-granddaughter, Milania Monahan. Each of them was a joy of her life. She was the former wife of the late Stanley Pinkus. She was the cherished sister of the late Bruce Poole, Barbara Verna and Geraldine Fox. Her love extended to their children, her nieces and nephews; Tommy and JoAnne Verna, Denene Fox and Courtney and Shawn Poole. Those who knew Linda best would describe her as loving, funny, and gentle - qualities that made her the wonderful person she was. She brought smiles to her family's faces, and her gentle touch provided comfort in times of need. A woman of many interests, Linda was a proud business owner, enjoyed reading and gardening. Her love for animals was equally profound, as she found joy in the companionship and unconditional love they provided. Linda's sense of style was undeniable, and her love for shopping and fashion was a way for her to express her vibrant personality. Yet, above all, Linda's greatest joys were loving Jesus and being a mom. She embraced her faith and motherhood with every fiber of her being. It was truly in the laughter and love of her granddaughters that her heart was content. Services will be held at a later date or privately and at the convenience of the family.
