Mrs. Linda Mae Shankel, age 72 of Granite Falls, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
She is survived by her children, Bobbie Eller (Husband Scott Eller) of Shelby, NC, and Kayla Jones (Husband Richard Jones) of Granite Falls, NC, eight grandchildren Michael Gates, Emily Brown, Lynzie Eller, Jesse Jones, Randyn Eller, Lauryn Eller, Alyssa Jones, and Caleb Jones, five sisters, Debbie Lowman, Nancy Cook, Teresa Owens, and Norma Lowman, Jane Buchanan, and one brother Steve Hagy.
Linda enjoyed going to church, watching westerns, and her puzzle books. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Victory Above Only Ministries 7255 Burke County Line Road Hickory NC 28602 with Pastor David Robinson leading the celebration. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to Royal Priesthood Biker Church for All People 634 S. Lafayette Street Shelby NC 28150.
