Linda M. Smentek, age 63, of Cecil, passed away on Monday May 26, 2025, in Green Bay. Linda was born on February 7, 1962, in Milwaukee to the late Joseph and Marie (Nemetz) Lukic. She owned and operated White Clay Lake Lodge and campground where she was a "mom" to all. Linda loved flowers, warm weather, beaches, boating and fishing. She was a generous and kind woman, always willing to help others. She consistently put the needs of others before her own and was always making sure her family and friends were well taken care of. Linda was an unforgettable woman, and her passing leaves an empty space in many lives. She will be greatly missed.
Linda is survived by her son, Bobby (significant other, Amanda Tangwall) Smentek; brother, Louis (Barbara) Lukic; sister-in-law, Jackie (Mike) Pische; nieces and nephew, John (Nicole) Lukic, Megan (Mark) Suchy and Vicky (fiancé, Mike Landvick) Richards; good friend, Tammy Draeger; and her former husband, Paul Smentek. She is further survived by other relatives and many amazing friends.
Linda is preceded in death by a nephew, Joshua Richards and her parents, Joseph and Marie.
The family will be having a private graveside service at Highland Memorial Park. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025, at White Clay Lake Lodge from noon until 6:00 pm.
