Linda A. Standish, loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished aunt, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024, at the age of 69, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Born on December 27, 1954, in Jersey City, NJ, Linda's kindness and warmth touched all corners of her community.
Her infectious smile and gentle spirit made her a beloved figure, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She is survived by her husband, David Standish Sr., with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring marriage. Together, they raised a family that was the center of her world. Her legacy continues through her children: David Standish Jr., and his wife Michele Graham, Jeffrey Standish, and Sarah Standish. Each of them reflects Linda's nurturing love and embodies her kindhearted nature.
Linda's memory will also be treasured by her nephews, James and Thomas Kelly, and her niece, Colleen Gallina, along with many great-nieces and nephew, who were blessed to experience her affection and support.
As we say farewell to Linda, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that gave so freely. Her spirit will forever resonate in the lives of her family and the many friends who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda's journey was one of purpose and joy, and her story will be recounted with fondness.
