Born on the 20th of February 1947 in Jumping Branch (Madams Creek), WV, Lin died on the 11th day of January 2025 peacefully at her home in Greenbelt, MD.
She is survived by her sister Tess Angell, brother Carlos Angell and his wife Nilia, nephews Mitchell and Alan Angell and their families, cousins Judy Mann, Glenna Shull, and her life partner Kirby Willis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Bea Simpkins, bother Jackie Angell, and ex-husband Robert White.
Lin grew up in True, WV. After graduation, she was recruited by the USDA and worked in Hyattsville and at BARC before being hired by Price George's County Memorial Library System where she retired from.
A big thank you to Montgomery & Price George's Hospice for their care.
Her absence leaves a large void, but her love will remain until we see her again.
