Logan passed away Monday July 21, 2025 in Carlisle at the age of 24. A Celebration of Life for Logan Lee Pritchard Beaty will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Historic Palmyra Methodist Church, in Palmyra where any one can come and join during this time.
Logan was known for his big dimples and infectious smile, and laugh. He seemed to attract all the kids to him simply with just his smile. He had the most amazing strong, embracing, hugs, and always made it a point to say hello, or good bye, with those hugs we looked forward to. He always seemed happy and was a person that came with a smile, and left with a smile, and made people feel good after being around him. He was able to talk to others and if they were negative, would instead point out the positives. The gifts he gave he loved making them homemade and putting as much thought in them as possible and would reach out to others to make them the best he could.
He was known for his ability to not conform to others and was not afraid to be his own person. He didn't seem to care what others thought and many of us appreciated him for it. He had many tattoos to express himself including anything from dates and symbols representing those he lost and loved, to fun things like his most recent blue banana squid. He was happy to be a red head and use to joke that he wanted to go to Ireland to be "with his people". He liked that he was different from others with his red hair and hazel eyes with freckles in them. He thought it was so fun when he got a Red Head wine for his 21st birthday.
Logan could make friends with anyone and it was easy for him to make everyone feel included. He would draw people to him because of his ability to have fun, spirited, caring, and passionate. He met and would get to know people on line, all over the US through video games and ending up meeting one of his best friends by sharing what they loved and talking through only microphones. This friend ended up asking him to be a groomsman in his wedding he made such an impact and flew to Utah to be a part of it sight unseen.
Logan was drawn and aspired to be in the helping field. He wanted to be anything from a fireman, a therapist, or a psychiatrist. He wasn't afraid to share his struggles with anxiety, and wanted not only to help others, but did it without thinking and would be there when anyone needed him. He knew he was skinny, but also loved that he could eat as many of Grammys rolls as he possibly could (his record was 12), or eat as much movie theater popcorn he could get his hands on and not put on weight like the rest of us might.
Fun was always in Logan's nature. He was the kid growing up who if he was told not to play hide and seek in the haybales, would anyway because it was his favorite place to hide. Games were a huge part of his life and seemed to start from a young age playing ping pong and pool with his grandpa and cousins, and a good ol' game of bumper. Board games were a favorite family past time along with putting together Legos. He became a huge fan of frisbee golf and although he'd laugh at those of us that would send our frisbees flying the wrong directions he didn't care he just wanted to enjoy playing and having fun. Although Logan seemed to change favorite teams a lot, he loved watching NFL Football and became a Lions fan despite the rest of the family he chided being Chiefs or Vikings fans. He looked forward to our family/friend fantasy football teams.
Logan is survived by his parents Susan Beaty and Rick Pritchard, brother Cory Pritchard (Calla Olson), Nathan Pritchard, nephew Matthias Pritchard; Grandmother Donna Beaty; aunts and uncles Shelley (Joe) Royer, Sherry Jones, Scott (Shawna)Pritchard and many cousins and family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Beaty.
