Loral Myers passed away on May 23, 2024. She was born November 17, 1938 to Cleo and Amanda Williamson. She was the 9th of 10 children.
Loral attended Hinckley School and graduated in 1956. After graduation she moved to the Twin Cities and worked at Waldorf Paper until her marriage to Clifford Myers in 1962. They resided on the farm south of Cloverdale and started their family. They later moved to Center City in 1973 and started their business The Family Sports Center.
Loral and Clifford divorced in 1998. She then worked at the Chisago County Treasurer office for 17 years and later as a volunteer driver for Heartland Express.
Loral loved to watch the Vikings, especially during the Bud Grant - Fran Tarkington era. She loved to deer hunt and also loved to drive often over the speed limit. She would not convert to GPS and would use only her paper maps. She loved garage sailing and finding a good deal, visiting the casino, and going out to eat. She was always out and about enjoying coffee in the morning with friends.
Loral is survived by her children Pat, Janet (Lee) Cartier, Andre' (Bernadette), Kyle, and Tony; grandchildren Crystal (Bret), Mitchell, Drake, and Anya; great grandchildren Ian and Eva; sister Carol; brother Kenny (Laura); sister-in-law Myrna, and many nieces and nephews.
A private family interment will be held.
