Louis F. Heck, 100 years old of Stratford, NJ (formerly Glendora, NJ) peacefully entered eternal rest on July 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and proud veteran, Louis lived a century marked by courage, resilience, and unwavering devotion to his country and loved ones.

Born on May 30, 1925 in Philadelphia to Louis and Rosa Heck, Louis answered the call to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II. His experiences during the war shaped his deep sense of duty and patriotism, which he carried throughout his life. He held various positions at Glendora VFW Post 8714 and was also affiliated with American Legion Post 281.

He married his beloved wife Anne J., on June 15, 1946, and together they shared 56 wonderful years until her passing in 2002. Louis worked for 40 years as a steel fabricator in Camden, NJ and was known for his quiet strength, gentle humor, and steadfast integrity.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anne J; his son, William J. Heck and his wife Joan; his sisters Regina Grey and Phyllis Jarrett; and his brother Robert Heck. Though he grieved their loss deeply, his faith remained his guiding light.

Louis is survived by his daughters Patricia M. Carroll (Patrick) and Barbara A. Romano (Michael); his grandchildren Ann Marie Morales (Nicholas), Patrick Carroll, III, Bridget Fedor (Glenn), Michael Romano (Tiffany), Amy Romano, Melissa Heck, and Brian Heck; his great-grandchildren Nicholas Morales (Sophia Wagner), Gianna Morales (Joseph Crincoli), Erin Carroll, Andrew Fedor, Alexander Fedor, Patrick Carroll, IV, Colin Romano, and Ellie Romano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a visitation on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church in Runnemede. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in the Church. Interment with Military Honors will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis' memory to Holy Child Parish, 13 E. Evesham Road, Runnemede, NJ, 08078 or to Glendora VFW Post 8714, 1008 Central Ave, Glendora, NJ 08029.
